Data Analyst (Limerick, hybrid).

Our client is a rapidly growing Saas software product firm in the Industry 4.0/data collection/IoT sector. Based in Castletroy in Limerick, they are now hiring a Data Analyst. This is a hybrid role (3 days per week onsite and 2 days remote) and generous salary and full benefits are on offer. Working as part of a team, you will report into the Senior Manager of Analytics, in the Limerick office.

Job Description Summary:

Extract data from data warehouse and prepare for the dashboards.
Connect to multiple client data sources to build key insights to process performance.
Work with underlying SQL to bring data into PowerBI (reports and dashboards).
Test and resolve any performance issues associated with reports.
Work with software developers to embed data analytics into our SaaS platform.
Find trends and patterns in the information.
Create a more efficient data collection and analysis process.
Produce and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Work with clients to improve their outcomes and user experience.

Candidate Profile:

You have excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills.
You have a good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Degree in IT .
Fluent in English.
Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
Ability to simplify information and represent it visually for a broad audience and customers.
Advanced Power BI and advanced Power Query user skills.
Proficiency in SQL and Python for data querying and manipulation
Strong understanding of ETL processes and best practices.
Prior experience of creating Key Performance Indicators, scorecards, financial or mathematical models and information acquisition tools applicable across diverse business situations highly desirable.
Azure cloud infrastructure experience desirable but not essential.
You have EC citizenship or current Irish Stamp 4 work permit (sponsorship is not available)
