Our client, an established and market-leading specialist contractor within the architectural precast concrete and façade sector, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team.
Working across high-profile construction projects, you will lead multidisciplinary project teams from design through to manufacture, installation and final handover. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business recognised for delivering complex, architecturally significant projects across Ireland and the UK.
The successful candidate will take ownership of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Department, you will act as the Project Team Leader, coordinating internal design, commercial and construction teams while maintaining strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
You will play a key role in ensuring projects progress efficiently from tender stage through manufacture, installation, client handover and financial close-out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning and coordinate internal project teams to achieve programme milestones.
- Manage a portfolio of construction projects from award through to completion.
- Develop a thorough understanding of each project's scope, programme, commercial objectives and technical requirements.
- Maintain proactive involvement throughout every stage of the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate design, surveying, commercial and construction functions to ensure effective project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and key stakeholders.
- Ensure clear communication through regular meetings, progress updates and formal reporting.
- Monitor programme performance and identify risks, implementing mitigation strategies where required.
- Identify and resolve issues that may impact project delivery, escalating concerns where appropriate.
- Provide early warning of programme, commercial or technical risks to senior management.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records to ensure full traceability.
- Work closely with Quantity Surveyors to monitor budgets, costs and commercial performance.
- Ensure smooth transition between project phases, including design, manufacture, installation and final handover.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement across all projects.

Essential Experience:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Project Manager role within the construction industry.
- Proven experience delivering construction projects for a specialist contractor.
- Experience within precast concrete, façades, cladding, structural concrete or a related specialist subcontracting environment is highly desirable.
- Strong experience coordinating design, commercial and construction teams through the full project lifecycle.
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related discipline.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and project planning software such as Microsoft Project or Asta.
