Urgent Hire – FullStack Engineer (Oracle)

• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: 12 months
• Location: 1 week on site- Dublin Ireland, 3 weeks working from home
• Rate: €450- €480 per day

We are looking for an engineer who is hardworking, inquisitive, a responsible individual to help deliver the best digital web experience to our users. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Oracle database development, with demonstrable experience of writing consistent, reliable, maintainable code and designing databases. We’re looking for an individual with a strong client focus with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to take ownership of assigned projects.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL
• Expertise in data analysis
• Experience in SQL performance tuning
• Experience in designing data access layer for real-time and batch applications
• Familiar with multiple database concepts, i.e. RDBMS, OODB, ODS, Warehouse
• Experience in developing using formal development methodologies (Agile experience a plus)
• Familiarity with logical data modeling and relational database design
• Data movement and ETL experience (preferably Informatica)
• Experience in working with Job scheduling tools (preferably Control-M)
• Oracle Certification would be highly desirable
• Experience working in UNIX environment
• Proficiency with one or more source control systems
• Hands-on experience using GenAI tools (such as Github Copilot or equivalent) for code generation, problem-solving, and accelerating software development.
• Proven experience working with large, complex PL/SQL centric applications, with the ability to assess existing implementations and drive meaningful technical improvements
• Experience collaborating with application and architecture teams to improve database design, performance, and overall system efficiency
• Experience working with project teams located in multiple geographic locations.
