Baker

The Role

Hartley People Recruitment are seeking a Baker on behalf of our client, a leading retailer within the food industry. This role serves a vital function within the store bakery department, ensuring products are produced to the highest quality standards while maintaining excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

Reporting to the Bakery Management Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for producing and baking a range of bakery products in accordance with company recipes, specifications, and food safety standards. You will play a key role in ensuring products are finished and presented to the highest standard, supporting production planning, maintaining hygiene and quality procedures, and contributing to the overall success of the bakery department.

The Person

• Bakery Production Certification is essential.
• HACCP certification and knowledge of food safety procedures.
• Strong understanding of food, health and safety regulations.
• Previous experience working in a bakery production environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
