CPL Healthcare is delighted to announce we have partnered up with a client who supports  adults with physical, sensory, and neurological disabilities to live  independently and as part of their communities .

We are currently accepting CVs for the role of Assistant Manager in their Residential Service in Waterford City . Successful candidate will be employed on a full time basis (37 hours per week) for a one year fixed term contract.

As Assistant Manager, you will be the supporting the Person in Charge (PIC) for HIQA purposes, leading day-to-day operations, managing teams, ensuring compliance, and delivering excellent outcomes for the people our client supports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Service Manager in leading and managing day-to-day service delivery

  • Ensure compliance with HIQA, safeguarding, and regulatory standards

  • Manage budgets, resources, and workforce planning

  • Promote community inclusion and continuous service improvement

Essential Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years’ previous experience in a similar focused role.

  • A QQI Level 5 Healthcare Major Award or an equivalent care related qualification.

  • A Management Qualification.

  • Previous experience in leading and managing a team.

  • In possession of the necessary documentation to work and live in the Republic of Ireland.

  • Hold full a (clean) driver licence and is willing to travel for work on a regular basis and outside of normal working hours when required.

  • Willing to embrace change and is committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning throughout the service.
