Experienced Bartender

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a  Bartender to join our motivated team in our busy Victoria Hotel in Galway. Reporting to the F&B Manager, you will provide a friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Meeting and exceeding Guests expectations regarding cocktails and beverages.
• Responsible for keeping the bar area clean and organised, maintaining all sanitation standards of the hotel
• Co-operation and good communication with your colleagues whilst on duty is essential in order to maintain a good team morale and teamwork throughout the hotel as a whole.
• Ensuring accurate, knowledgeable, and thorough service of cocktails and beverages to all guests.
• Ability to ascertain guest satisfaction, confidently offering suggestions, and responding urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
• Assisting with Bar Deliveries and the maintenance of stock.
• Attendance at training as when it is deemed necessary by your departmental Manager or the Hotel Manager is essential
• Ensure defective or faulty equipment is reported and follow up on any maintenance issues to ensure they are rectified in a timely manner
• Ensure all financial procedures, especially around guest billing are followed and shifts are closed out and balanced.

PRIOR BARTENDING AND CASHIER EXPERIENCE IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST.
