Required Competencies and Training

  • Compassion, patience, and empathy

  • Dependable and attentive, with a strong commitment to high-quality care

  • Great communication skills with clients and support team

  • Ability to work independently and follow policies and safety standards

  • Experience providing care (desirable)

  • 2 QQI Level 5 modules ( Care Skills and Care of the Older Person ) ( required )

  • Up-to-date Patient Moving & Handling certificate (training provided if needed)

  • International Police Clearance (if applicable)

  • Drivers with access to own car due to locations
