CBTax

Role : IT Associate
Location : Dublin
Salary : Negotiable, dependent on experience
Reports to : CTO

About CBTax

CBTax is an award-winning, global R&D tax consultancy firm with offices in Manchester and Northampton in the UK, Dublin serving the Republic of Ireland, and our newest locations in New York and Dubai supporting the US and Middle Eastern markets.

As one of the fastest-growing firms in our sector, we specialise in R&D Tax Relief, partnering with businesses across many sectors including engineering, technology, manufacturing, construction, energy, science, agriculture, and food & beverage to deliver robust claims, commercial value, and fully compliant advice.

We’re looking for high-performing, commercially minded problem-solvers who want to make a tangible impact. There has never been a more exciting time to join CBTax as we continue our international growth.

About the Role

We’re looking for an IT Associate to be an on-the-ground IT presence at our Dublin office. You’ll keep the team running day-to-day, hardware, software, network, new starter setup, while working directly with our CTO on the systems that power the business, including Salesforce, while contributing to wider IT & Systems Projects across the business.

We're ideally looking for someone who’s familiar with Salesforce as it's central to how CBTax operates. You'll support the team across daily operations, keeping our IT systems running smoothly.

In This Role You’ll

  • Support our Salesforce environment alongside the CTO — user queries, small configurations and other related projects.

  • Provide first-line IT support across the Dublin office — hardware, software, accounts, troubleshooting

  • Set up new starters end-to-end, including kit, mailboxes, network access, and security protocols

  • Maintain network and WiFi performance, ensuring consistent uptime and a smooth user experience

  • Manage local IT assets and liaise with suppliers and vendors

  • Monitor security processes and ensure systems remain secure and up to date

What We're Looking For

  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a similar IT role. You’ll ideally be familiar with Salesforce as we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running.

  • Genuine enthusiasm for technology and a real appetite to learn

  • Strong communicator, comfortable supporting users at all levels

  • Methodical, organised, and sharp on detail

  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Benefits & Perks

  • Pension: Through auto-enrolment

  • Tech Scheme: Access to the latest technology.

  • Flex Benefits: Tailor your perks to suit your lifestyle.

  • Employee Incentives: A range of excellent employee incentives to ensure your efforts are rewarded.

  • Recognition: Get seen. Get rewarded. Get promoted.

Please note that only applicants with unrestricted right to work in Ireland will be considered for this position. CBTax is unable to offer visa sponsorship.
