The Role – M&E Coordinator This is a key hire for a live projects, where mechanical and electrical coordination is critical to successful delivery. The role is open to both experienced M&E Coordinators and those operating at M&E Manager level, depending on experience.
You will take ownership of M&E coordination across design and construction phases, ensuring all building services are fully integrated, compliant, and delivered in line with programme and quality expectations. This is a fast-moving project, and the team is looking for someone who can step in immediately and make an impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all mechanical and electrical services on-site and during design stages
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards across all M&E activities
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical submittals for accuracy and buildability
- Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and internal project teams to drive progress
- Monitor programme milestones and ensure M&E works are aligned with overall construction schedule
- Oversee quality control, inspections, and commissioning processes
- Identify and resolve clashes or coordination issues in advance of installation
- Provide regular progress updates and reports to senior management
- Support successful handover of all M&E systems, documentation, and certifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an M&E coordination or M&E management role
- Strong background working on large-scale construction projects, ideally healthcare or similar regulated environments
- Excellent understanding of mechanical and electrical building services systems
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple workstreams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-focused with a commitment to quality, safety, and programme delivery
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and hit the ground running
