EXPRESSION OF INTEREST - INTERNAL COMPETITION
The Community Midwifery Team (CMT) is delighted to invite Expressions of Interest from Midwives who would like to join our innovative and expanding service through an internal rotational opportunity.
This rotation offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team delivering high-quality, woman centred care across the community.
The service supports women and their families from discharge until 6 weeks postnatally and continues to evolve through the development of our community postnatal hubs, midwifery lead clinics and enhanced models of care.
Successful applicants will gain experience across a range of community services including:
Home postnatal visits.
Community postnatal hubs.
Midwifery lead antenatal clinics.
Antenatal education.

Professional Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- Be currently employed within the hospital.
- Be registered, or be eligible for registration, in the Midwifery Division of the Register kept by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI] (Bord Altranais agus Cnaimhseachais na hEireann)
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional development and high standards of clinical practice.
- Have a full clean driving license.
Desirable:
While not essential, the following experience would be advantageous:
Previous experience in postnatal care.
Experience working in outpatient clinic or prenatal ward.
Experience in the delivery suite.
Exposure to community based care, or continuity models of care.
