Why This RoleThis company builds software used by sales and revenue teams to better understand customer interactions, identify opportunities, and make smarter decisions. The product area you'll be leading is already established and represents a significant part of the business, but the Dublin team is still relatively new. They've recently moved ownership of this product area into Dublin and are now looking for someone to help build the design function around it.This isn't a role for someone who wants to spend all day moving pixels. The team already has strong designers. What they need now is someone who can lead people, create structure, improve collaboration across product and engineering, and raise the overall quality of design execution. What They Need Help With
You'll be leading a team of Product Designers while working closely with Product and Engineering leadership across one of the company's most important product areas.
A big part of the role is helping the team scale well as the Dublin product organisation continues to grow.
You'll be:
Managing and developing a team of designers
Providing direction, feedback, and design leadership
Partnering closely with Product Managers and Engineering Managers
Helping establish design processes, rituals, and best practices
Supporting hiring and team growth
Driving high-quality user experiences across complex B2B products
Acting as the bridge between design craft, product strategy, and delivery
While there is still some hands-on involvement, this is primarily a leadership role focused on people, collaboration, and design quality. What They're Looking For
Experience managing and developing Product Designers
Strong product design background before moving into management
Experience working on complex software products, ideally B2B SaaS
Comfortable balancing leadership responsibilities with enough design expertise to coach others
Someone who can give clear feedback and help teams navigate ambiguity
Strong stakeholder management skills
Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams
Strong understanding of UX principles, research, and modern design practices
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong Figma experience
Bonus points if you've worked in high-growth product environments where teams are scaling quickly. The CultureThe Dublin office owns products end-to-end.Design, Product, and Engineering all sit together and build collaboratively rather than operating across distributed teams. From speaking with the team, one thing that came up repeatedly was the lack of ego. People are collaborative, approachable, and focused on building great products rather than protecting territory.
Good fit for someone who enjoys ownership, likes working closely with other disciplines, and wants to help shape a growing team.
