Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator

Since 2001, The School Food Company have been dedicated to serving fresh, healthy lunches that are cooked daily onsite in our kitchens which we install in schools.

The School Food Company are currently recruiting for a Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator.

Reporting to: Operations Director

Location: This role will be based in our Limerick office, it will involve potential nationwide travel to school locations and some element of remote working.

Position type: Full time

We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive person to support our growing organisation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fastpaced environment, enjoys working with people, and can manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.

About the Role

You will oversee the full recruitment cycle - from advertising roles and screening candidates to issuing contracts and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. You will also maintain our recruitment platform and ensure all candidate information is accurate, compliant, and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage endtoend recruitment for all advertised positions.
• Source, screen, and shortlist candidates in line with organisational needs.
• Schedule and conduct interviews.
• Maintain and update the recruitment platform, ensuring all candidate records and workflow stages are accurate.
• Oversee onboarding from acceptance of offer to commencement of employment.
• Issue letters of offer, employment contracts, and onboarding documentation.
• Liaise with managers to ensure new starters are fully prepared for their first day.
• Ensure all recruitment and onboarding processes comply with organisational policies and relevant legislation.

Requirements

• Experience in recruitment, HR administration, or a similar role.
• Strong organisational and timemanagement skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Experience using recruitment or HR systems/platforms (desirable).
