Your new role includes:
- Act as a role model for staff, promoting professional and therapeutic approaches to child care.
- Support the Social Care Manager in the delivery of high standards of care in line with HIQA regulations and Children First
- Lead, supervise, and support a team of Social Care Workers and Relief Staff on shift and ensure accurate and timely recording of daily reports, incident logs, medication, and other documentation.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for children and young people.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individual placement support plans and daily routines.
- Facilitate communication with families, social workers, schools, and external professionals as required.
Experience you need:
- Minimum 3 years of postgraduate Social Care experience
- Minimum Level 7 degree in Social Care, or other related courses
