Excel Recruitment are excited in searching for a Head Chef one of Galway 's renowned Gastro Bars,

This is a Gastro Bar, renowned for its quality food and service are seeking an experienced Head Chef.

We are seeking applications from interested candidates who have worked at Head Chef level in a busy restaurant, bar or hotel who has a passion for outstanding food quality and excellent customer service. This person will understand the importance of training and coaching a team to ensure standards are maintained at all times.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a formal culinary qualification
• Have experience in a high-end restaurant, gastro bar of 4 Star hotel kitchen
• Understand kitchen management systems including inventory management, margins, food safety, health and safety
• Have a passion for producing high quality food, adapting menus to offer seasonal produce
• Have excellent communication skills and lead a kitchen team from the front
