EHS Specialist - Pharmaceutical Facilities Management

To support growth and expansion we are currently recruiting for a EHS Specialist to join our team in Dublin 15

Working pattern : Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:30 Friday 08:00 - 15:30

We are looking to add a member to our growing team who has experience in an EHS role and is keen to further develop their skills and progress their career.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously enhance our EHS programs, as well as those of our client, to ensure full compliance with Irish regulations and client policy requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessment and hazard analyses across various operational areas to identify potential EHS risks and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
  • Implement robust contractor management process to ensure compliance with company and client requirements.
  • Lead and deliver safety training sessions to employees, our client and our contractors to ensure awareness and adherence to EHS standards.
  • Perform regular inspections of our operations and those of our contractors to ensure compliance with EHS legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Review contractor documentation to ensure compliance with EHS requirements and standards.
  • Maintain electronic systems to monitor EHS incidents, near misses, and accidents. Conduct thorough investigations and develop corrective and preventative action plans as necessary.
  • Organize third-party certified safety training for site personnel.

Requirements

  • Risk Assessment Management skills
  • Contractor Management experience
  • Fundamental understanding of OH&S Irish legislative requirements
  • Incident investigation
  • A recognised qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety, with a commitment to continuing professional development.

  • ISO 45001, 14001, 9001 audit experience or auditor certification
