Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and manage all aspects of our HR operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing strategic initiatives, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring HR practices align with both local regulations and the school's values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and compliance.

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with Qatari labor law and school objectives.

  • Partner with school leadership to support workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.

  • Coordinate staff professional development and training programs.

  • Ensure timely and accurate HR reporting and documentation.

  • Manage employee welfare, grievance procedures, and disciplinary processes professionally and empathetically.

  • Oversee HR systems and ensure data integrity.

  • Support staff wellbeing initiatives and maintain high levels of staff engagement and retention.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certifications such as CIPD preferred).

  • Minimum 5–7 years of HR management experience, preferably in an educational or international setting.

  • Strong understanding of Qatari labor laws and HR best practices.

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition and HR strategy implementation.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with discretion and professionalism.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:

Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Experience:

2 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)

Must be a native speaker of English

Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered

Prefer candidates with international experience

Open University qualification(s) are NOT accepted

Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted

Additional:

**MUST have experience in HR
**Ideally experience of working in a school in Qatar

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:

A salary from 20000 up to 25000  QAR (Qatar Riyal)per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE

Flights:

Flight(s) provided annual flights are provided for the teacher

Bereavement Leave:

Bereavement leave given

Emergency Evacuation:

Emergency evacuation given

Gratuity Amount:

Gratuity Amount of the end of service bonus pay is 3 weeks per annum completed and paid at the end of the contract is provided

Contract Length:

2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
