Door insulation task: seal and weatherstrip a bedroom door

Hi there, I need help with insulating a standard interior bedroom door to reduce drafts and improve energy efficiency. The job involves installing weatherstripping along the bottom and gaps around the frame, plus possibly replacing a worn door seal. I have the weatherstripping kit ready, but I’m open to recommendations on material type (vinyl vs foam). The door currently sticks a bit, so please advise if any light planing is needed before fitting. I’d prefer someone who can work quietly and finish within a few hours. My apartment is in Dublin, and I’d like the work completed this week if possible.
