Project Manager
Our Client is currently looking for a Project Manager to join their organisation to manage and monitor the construction requirements, programme and cost plan for ongoing projects. The sites are primarily located in the greater Dublin area.
Responsibilities
Visit the customers site to assess their requirements and provide them with estimate of costs and a program of works.
Arrange for site survey and measurements.
Arrange for the procurement and/or manufacture of materials required for the project.
Ensure site safety plans are prepared and documented, taking site specific conditions in to account.
Supervise installation crews on site.
Attend site meetings.
Ensure adherence to Health and Safety procedures on site.
Maintain safety records of personnel and equipment.
Complete daily work plan and update safety documentation accordingly.
Regularly update the Senior Project Manager with reports of site activities.
Keep a record of issues on site.
Make sure areas are prepped for future works.
Ensure resources are available for upcoming works.
Check material arriving on site.
Manage stock of material on site.
Measure completed works on site and ensure prompt issuing of invoices and valuations.
Follow up with client QS/representative to ensure payments are received on time.
Experience, Skills Required
Previous experience working in a similar role is an advantage.
Must have a Safe Pass.
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar qualifications.
Good communication, numerical and organisational skills.
Good IT skills.
Ability to read drawings.
