Unijobs on behalf of our Public Sector Client, are currently recruiting for a Night Duty Administrator. The position is to be filled ASAP with any interested candidates to be available to commence work immediately. This post will require the successful candidate to be flexible in their working hours . The work will consist of night shifts only, across any of the 7 nights, which will vary from week to week. The working week will consist of an average of 35 hours :the hourly rate in total will be €21.64.
*Applicants must be eligible to work in Ireland at the time of application. This position is subject to Garda Vetting and Foreign Police Clearance. You will be required to obtain these prior to commencing in this role. The role requires access to or direct contact with children and/or vulnerable adults, necessitating Garda vetting in line with safeguarding requirements. *
Temporary Month to Month Contract
Purpose of the Post - To provide comprehensive administrative, clerical and secretarial support.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Dealing with the public
- Preparation, checking & processing of data
- Processing information
- Clerical assistance
- Maintaining / updating records as required
- Word processing / typing including audio typing
- Correspondence management
- Minute taking
- Reception duties
- Preparation of reports often to tight deadlines
- Supporting research projects
- Any other administrative support as requested
- Any other duties that may be assigned

Skills, Competencies and/or Knowledge:
Each candidate and every person holding the office must have;
- Previous experience working in a busy office setting
- Be completely fluent in both spoken & written English
- Ability to work as a member of a team and make positive contributions to that team

- Ability to work in a customer focussed environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent Computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail etc.
