Assistant Fitter

The Osborne Tech and Eng team are currently recruiting for the role of assistant fitter , to join our client operating in the domestic and commercial bespoke furniture sector.

Requirements:

• Must have a completed qualification in Health and Safety
• Good level of physical fitness
• Basic knowledge of hand power tools
• Ability to work at heights
• Strong work ethic and punctuality
• Drivers licence

Competencies required:

• Proactive with an ability to work on own initiative and to take the lead where appropriate
• Assist with installation, assembly and fitting of awnings and components
• Load and unload tools and parts
• Prepare work site and maintain and clean and safe working space
• Follow directions from lead fitter and work as part of a team
• Handle ladders, drills and other power tools
• Communicate professionally with clients on site
