Service Technician

Overview
A well-established agricultural engineering business in Kildare is expanding its field service team and is looking for a hands-on technician to join them. This is a permanent, vehicle-based role supporting farm customers across Leinster.

No two days are the same. You'll be out on customer sites equipment back up and running and installing new systems, with a supportive team behind you and training along the way.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer farms to install, service and repair dairy and farm machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults quickly and complete lasting repairs.
• Keep customers' equipment running efficiently through routine servicing and preventative checks.
• Work independently on site, drawing on the wider team whenever you need support.
• Build strong relationships with customers through clear communication and reliable service.
  

Criteria

• Hold a background in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulic or agricultural engineering.
• Bring sharp fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
• Hold a full clean driving licence.
• Show flexibility to cover occasional overtime.
• An interest in agriculture is a bonus.
