Machine Operative

Sam Dennigan & Company uc. the largest Irish owned fresh produce and logistics Company based in North Co. Dublin, are currently recruiting for the position of  Machine Operative - Days  for our Potato Packhouse Department in our busy Depot in Oldtown, Palmerstown, North Co. Dublin.

Responsibilities:

Bosch Packing Machine to maintain operationally

Bosch Packing Machine coding and dating system

Upmatic Paper Machine to maintain operationally

Newtec Weighing Machine to maintain operationally

Operating pallet trucks or trolleys for orders

Adherence to Health & Safety, Hygiene, Quality and HACCP standards in the warehouse

Requirements:

6 months experience working within a packhouse environment essential.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work to work in a fast-paced environment

A good standard in numeracy, literacy and warehouse equipment/systems

Ability to act on own initiative

Hard working and enthusiastic

Excellent communication skills

Fluency in English 

Hours:

Working 5 over 7 days

Full time 39hrs per week

Fixed-Term 6-month contract with a view to extend

Immediate start for suitable candidates
