Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Physics Teacher to join our IGCSE and IBDP programmes. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality education, inspiring curiosity, and encouraging critical thinking in the field of Physics.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons to IGCSE and IBDP students.

- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and student learning needs.

- Foster an inclusive and collaborative classroom environment.

- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.

- Prepare students for IGCSE and IBDP examinations, ensuring comprehensive understanding of key concepts.

- Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular learning and extracurricular activities.

- Maintain up-to-date records of student achievement and progress.

Qualifications and Requirements:

*Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Physics or a related field.

*Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent international certification).

*Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching Physics at the IGCSE and/or IBDP level.

*Strong understanding of international curricula, particularly IGCSE and IBDP.

*Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire students.

*Experience working in an international or bilingual school setting is an advantage.

*Adaptability, cultural awareness, and commitment to professional growth.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:

Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Experience:

2 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)

Must be a native speaker of English

Prefer candidates with international experience

Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted

Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted

Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Additional:

**International teaching experience is beneficial
**Bilingual teacher preferred but not essential
**Able to support the school residential programme
**Able to supervise and/or lead co-curricular activity during activity time
**Able to lead pastoral programme

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:

A salary   CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied

Housing:

Housing allowance of Based on application   CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) provided
