An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a leading engineering and construction team delivering large-scale data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, and mission-critical projects across Denmark, Sweden, and Germany.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the electrical engineering function on complex projects, supporting successful project delivery from design review and installation through to commissioning and final handover. Working closely with project managers, design teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors, you will provide technical leadership while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance are achieved.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate all electrical engineering activities across the project life cycle.
• Review and interpret electrical designs, specifications, drawings, and technical submittals.
• Provide technical guidance and support to site teams, subcontractors, and junior engineers.
• Monitor electrical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, CSA, commissioning, and project management functions.
• Manage and review procurement activities for electrical equipment and materials.
• Participate in design workshops, technical reviews, and value engineering exercises.
• Support planning activities and monitor project progress against key milestones.
• Oversee inspection, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure systems are delivered successfully.
• Identify and resolve technical issues while implementing effective corrective actions.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health, safety, and quality requirements.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate project updates to key stakeholders.
• Assist with project handover documentation and client closeout activities.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Lead Electrical Engineer, or similar role on large-scale construction projects.
• Previous experience delivering data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, semiconductor, life sciences, or mission-critical projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, power generation, UPS systems, switchgear, transformers, and critical infrastructure.
• Ability to review technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and electrical designs.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong knowledge of commissioning processes and project handover requirements.
• Familiarity with European electrical standards and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Fluent English is essential; additional European languages would be advantageous.
• Willingness to travel or relocate within Europe as required.
