INFORM3 have an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civil Engineer to join a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a range of infrastructure and construction projects across Fermanagh and the surrounding areas.

This is a hands-on role offering long-term career progression, working alongside an experienced team to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Civil Engineer Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise civil engineering works from commencement through to completion.
  • Set out works and ensure all construction activities are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor project progress and assist with planning to ensure programme milestones are achieved.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers to maintain efficient site operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, measurements, and as-built information.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure effective communication throughout the project.
  • Assist with procurement, material scheduling, and resource planning.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues as they arise on site.
  • Support the commercial team with measurements and project reporting where required.

Civil Engineer Requirements

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a civil engineering role.
  • Strong setting out experience using GPS and Total Station equipment.
  • Good knowledge of construction methods, specifications, and engineering drawings.
  • Experience working on infrastructure, utilities, road, drainage, or groundworks projects.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK/Irish driving licence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD experience is advantageous.
