The Company Our client is a large representative body based Dublin who have undergone a massive transformation across their business. They are seeking to appoint an experienced Financial Controller to initially join the team on an interim basis. Reporting to the Operations Director, this role will also have significant dealings with the CEO and Board Level. The Position : The role will take responsibility for the day to day operations of the Finance team and drive a commercial approach in terms of the finance agenda and prepare information packs. Duties will include:
  • Monthly accounts preparation and ownership of month end close
  • Lead and develop small Finance team
  • Form part of leadership team contributing to overall running of the business 
  • Attend board meetings as required
  • Financial and commercial analysis analysis 
  • Audit preparation and management 
  • Budgeting and forecasting 
  • Cashflow 
  • Review and improve finance policies, procedures and controls
  • System upgrade
  • Project work 
The Person:
  • Qualified Accountant with similar experience
  • Team management experience essential 
  • Very strong technical accounting skills
  • Commercial orientation
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills/ability to prioritize work
  • Good interpersonal skills
