Teamworx is recruiting for an exciting Store Manager Trainee opportunity with a leading international retailer in Cork.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious retail professional who is ready to take the next step into management. You may currently be working as a Supervisor, Team Leader, Duty Manager, Department Manager or junior Assistant Manager and looking for a company that will invest in your development and give you a clear pathway towards running your own store.

The Opportunity

You will join a structured retail management development programme designed to give you the practical experience, commercial knowledge and leadership skills required to progress into a Store Manager position.

During the programme, you will work at Deputy Store Manager level, combining hands-on store experience with structured management training and ongoing mentoring.

You will gain experience across:

• Leading, coaching and motivating store teams
  

• Driving sales and commercial performance
  

• Delivering excellent customer service
  

• Stock management and store standards
  

• Day-to-day store operations
  

• Planning, prioritising and decision-making
  

• Developing the skills required to manage your own store successfully
  

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience in a busy retail environment
  

• Has supervisory, team leadership or junior management experience
  

• Is commercially driven and enjoys working towards targets
  

• Is confident leading and motivating others
  

• Can remain organised and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  

• Is comfortable working in a hands-on retail role
  

• Has a genuine ambition to progress into Store Management
  

• Is open to learning, feedback and taking ownership of their development.
  

Experience within grocery, supermarket, discount, large-format, fashion, homewares or high-volume retail would be particularly relevant.
