Our client is a well-established and growing business seeking an Accounts Executive to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive finance professional to gain exposure across both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions within a busy and supportive environment.

Your New Role

As an Accounts Assistant you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance operations of the business. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Processing supplier and customer invoices accurately and efficiently
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
• Performing account reconciliations
• Managing credit control activities and following up on outstanding balances
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
• Assisting with payment processing and general finance administration
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc accounting duties

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Accounts Executive, Bookkeeper or similar finance position
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Experience with invoice processing and statement reconciliations
• Credit control experience is advantageous
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
