Manager, Quality Assurance

Gilead Sciences seeks a Manager of Quality Assurance for its Cork, Ireland facility. This role provides front-line support to quality teams across affiliate organizations using SAP Quality Management systems, including guidance on batch release, inspection management, and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary support contact for Quality Assurance users across affiliate organizations
• Provide guidance on SAP QM transactions, quality master data, batch release, and inspection processes
• Investigate, triage, and escalate reported system issues with impact assessment
• Coordinate testing, validation, and implementation of system changes and enhancements
• Develop and maintain user documentation, training materials, and process guidance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Quality, or related discipline
• Experience supporting SAP Quality Management or similar enterprise quality systems
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical quality processes, batch release, and inspection management
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and assess root causes
• Strong communication skills for training and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience with user acceptance testing and system validation
