Maintenance Technician

Working as a Maintenance Technician you will work as part of a team to service, maintain and upgrade production equipment. You will problem solve and implement improvements in a busy FMCG environment.

Job Role:

Providing knowledge, experience and support to install, maintain and repair production and ancillary equipment.

Carrying out planned, preventative maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedules.

Carrying out reactive maintenance as required.

Identifying and implementing improvements on equipment.

Maintaining appropriate digital and manual records, liaising with various departments, suppliers and customers.

Work as a member of the maintenance team contributing to a positive working environment whilst supporting the training and development of others.

Requirements:

NVQ Qualification or Equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Problem Solving Skills.

Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Ability to work as part of a team.

Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
