An exciting opportunity has opened for a DevOps Architect Lead – Platform Strategy & Data Operations to join a leading global organisation embarking on an ambitious technology transformation journey. Reporting to the Head of Platform Enablement, you’ll take ownership of the enterprise DevOps and Platform Engineering roadmap, shaping the future of developer platforms, cloud infrastructure, and data operations across a global engineering environment.

This is a high-impact technical leadership role combining architectural vision, strategic ownership, and deep engineering expertise. You’ll lead the evolution of modern DevOps capabilities, championing automation, self-service platforms, DevSecOps, and cloud-native innovation to enhance developer experience, strengthen governance, and accelerate software delivery.

Working closely with Engineering, Security, Architecture, Infrastructure, and Data leadership, you’ll influence key technology decisions, establish architectural standards, and drive platform modernisation at scale. You’ll also play a key role in advancing AI/MLOps capabilities, enabling scalable, secure, and resilient platforms that support the organisation’s evolving technology and business needs.

What You Bring

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Architecture, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Strong technical expertise across AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions and Argo CD
• Experience defining technical roadmaps, establishing architectural standards, and leading platform modernisation initiatives
