We are currently seeking a Recruitment and Onboarding specialist who will assist the wider HR function across our 15 homes in Dublin, Meath, Kildare, Cork and Waterford.

Responsibilities/ Duties:

  • You will have responsibility over the full recruitment process lifecycle for various roles across the CareChoice Group.
  • Liaise directly with hiring managers in operational projects and functional departments on people requirements, operating best practice recruitment practices at all times.
  • Research the Healthcare market to formulate recruitment plans for key requirements.
  • Conduct both internal and external interviews and feedback sessions with candidates
  • Proactively engage with stakeholders, both externally and internally, at all levels, to build strong customer relationships to ensure the best possible candidates are hired.
  • Direct sourcing for specialist positions through social media channels and professional networks, e.g. LinkedIn, etc.
  • Point of contact for hiring managers across the business and ensuring clear lines of communication with all stakeholders
  • Agree and deliver on SLAs and KPIs for specific vacancies, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure that an end-to-end service is delivered.
  • Researching and keeping ahead of trends in respect of recruitment and sourcing approaches. This will include a review of current processes versus requirements and compliance standards.
  • Set a standard for candidate management across the group.
  • Screen and evaluate applicants at the initial stage, providing short-lists to hiring managers.
  • Attend regular resource planning meetings to ensure all people hiring requirements are actioned in line with the strategic plan.
  • Develop campaigns for specific requirements, including international recruitment of healthcare professionals
  • Build effective working relationships with the wider HR team to provide a cohesive delivery to the business.
  • Participate in the project implementation team projects, which involve the implementation of applicant tracking and candidate management processes, optimising the existing HRIS.
  • Work with the HR Director and Group HR Manager on the future development of Group Talent Acquisition strategy, examining different models and approaches to resource planning and management.
  • Report on recruitment activity on a regular basis and prepare weekly, monthly and Ad Hoc reports
  • Assist the wider HR team with any tasks/ projects as assigned by the HR Management team. 

Key Skills and Experience:

  • 3 rd Level Qualification in Human Resources or Business-related Degree.
  • Proven track record in in-house or agency recruitment, preferably in healthcare.
  • Ability to manage a demanding open hire list and effectively prioritise.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider HR team.
  • An understanding of GDPR obligations and the importance of the secure management of confidential, personal information in a regulated industry.
  • Experience with a range of social media recruitment tools and platforms.
  • Experience in applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to self-motivate and be proactive.
  • The ability and willingness to work to meet deadlines.
  • Solution-focused approach and the ability to make objective decisions and recommendations.
