Osborne are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Yard Operative to join a busy and growing agricultural business.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised and professional yard. The successful candidate will play an important part in ensuring agricultural machinery and equipment are presented to a high standard while keeping the yard safe, tidy and operational.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised yard at all times.
• Power wash, clean and valet tractors, trailers, telehandlers and other agricultural machinery.
• Carry out routine housekeeping duties across the yard and workshop areas.
• Move and position machinery and equipment around the yard safely.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries when required.
• Carry out basic inspections of machinery and report any damage or maintenance issues.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned and prepared for use or collection.
• Keep wash bays, storage areas and workspaces clean and well maintained.
• Dispose of waste materials safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Support the maintenance team with general yard duties as required.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a yard, agricultural, construction, manufacturing or similar outdoor environment is desirable.
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to undertake physical, hands-on work.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Full, clean driving licence.
