As they continue to expand their portfolio, they are seeking a Senior Estimator to join their team. This Senior Estimator role will be based in their head office in Co. Offaly.

Precisely calculating costs for materials, labour, and equipment

Quantifying project resources

Creating competitive bids

Analyzing project details and working with colleagues are essential for grasping project scope.

Comprehensive understanding aids accurate cost estimates, while good vendor relations and negotiation skills are crucial for project success.

Key Requirements for this Senior Estimator role:

Solid expertise and practical experience in estimating construction projects

5+ years’ experience in a similar role within the Irish Construction Industry

Capacity to dissect project needs and generate precise cost assessments.

Proficient in utilizing estimation software and resources.

Outstanding mathematical and analytical aptitude

Background in negotiating contracts and collaborating with suppliers.

Proven capability to handle numerous projects and adhere to deadlines.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities

Keen focus on detail and precision

Preferably holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related discipline.

Professional certifications such as Certified Professional Estimator are advantageous.

Must be eligible to work in Ireland.

Package offered for this Senior Estimator role:

Starting salary ranging from €60,000 to €70,000+, depending on experience

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
