We have a dedicated and committed trustee team of qualified professionals who have a wealth of experience in providing high quality trustee services to pension schemes in Ireland, including Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution and Master Trusts.

We wish to recruit a Trustee Director

Key Responsibilities will include:

Managing a portfolio of client schemes to include:

Ensuring schemes are operated to the highest standard within the provisions of the Trust Deed & Rules and all legislative requirements, including IORP II.
Attending trustee meetings and dealing with follow up work including minutes and action items.
Working with all third party advisers to the schemes – Consultants, Actuarial, Legal, Risk Management, Investment, Audit.
Review fee agreements and letters of engagement to ensure the services provided are adequately remunerated.

Working with all colleagues in the management of the Trustee businesses to include:

Acting as a Director to a number of Trustee Businesses, to ensure good corporate Governance and Compliance on all activities.
Director review and sign off on scheme activities, including Annual Reports, Actuarial and statutory reports, retirement, transfer and death claims.
Appointments and retirements as Trustee, including overseeing of scheme wind up activities.
Review of legislation, impacts and implementation for clients.
Correspondence and meetings with all Regulators.
Contribute to regular Trustee management meetings.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role with extensive Client Management experience.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to work on own initiative.
Keen attention to detail and excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
Be a strong team player.
A comprehensive understanding of the relevant underlying Pensions legislation and regulatory environment.
Hold a Trustee qualification and other relevant pension industry qualification.
Hold a full, clean Driving Licence.
