Responsibilities of this Trainee Buyer - Beauty include:

Sourcing new beauty products based on marking trends, customer preference, and budgetary constraints.
Provide general day-to-day administrative support to the Buying team.
Supplier Management - negotiating terms and managing relationships with suppliers.
Collaborate with other departments on various campaigns and strategies.
Understanding trends and interpreting them where relevant.
Developing and sourcing the right product at the right time to meet customer needs.
Reviewing sales, figures, and market trends.
Monitoring and analysing competitors and staying up to date with market trends within the industry.

Requirements of this Trainee Buyer - Beauty include:

Experience in a previous trainee buying role.
Strong negotiation skills.
Understanding of the beauty industry and current trends.
Strong PC skills such as Excel.
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and organise workload efficiently.
Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to initiate and build strong relationships with colleagues and suppliers alike.
Must be a team player and be able to work on their own initiative.
A strong passion for beauty.
