Your Role

Your Responsibilities

Creating compelling value proposition for Kuehne + Nagel customs product
Acquires new customs business from international and local accounts
Full P&L Ownership for the customs product to ensure profitable growth.
Leads, coordinates and drives the development of commercial strategies to win large/multi-country and
SME opportunities in stand-alone customs business
Assesses market trends and opportunities and translates these into new customs approach with reconciliation against exiting product design and product response.
Increases connectivity with customers, suppliers, internal partners and customs authorities via digital
interfaces, bots, automated uploads etc.
Be first point of contact for Sales organization – Key Account and Field Sales organization for customs
brokerage related opportunities.
Establishes strong relationship with client’s financial decision-maker as their single point of contact for
all lines of business.
Manages client relationships by conducting client visits to understand their cross-border trade
requirements.

Your Skills and Experiences

Minimum 5 years relevant experience in transportation (customs or customers brokerage related) with 2 years of Leadership experience
Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
Self-disciplined and self-motivated to produce aggressive results.
‘Hunter’ characteristics rather ‘farmer’.
Willing and interested to travel
Very good English skills.
Good technical understanding of custom requirements.
Tech-savvy being able to identify digitization potential and finding solutions fitting KN technology
landscape.
