So, are you an ambitious student in a Computer Science/Applications or related science or engineering discipline who is planning to take up a technical role on completion of your studies?
Based in Dublin, International Product Solutions is a standalone group within Oracle.
It is a highly experienced innovative global team of engineers and linguists recognized for delivering world leading Enterprise Translation Services.
These services include both Traditional and Machine Translation Services utilizing the latest Oracle and Open-Source technologies, which are achieving industry leading translation quality levels. We are constantly innovating to improve our service offerings to our extensive Enterprise customer base.
There are a series of roles across different teams. The role will run for 13mths, early June to end June. These roles are listed below...
Machine Translation & Translation Services Development (1 Position)
Key Tasks include, but are not limited to the following:

Machine Translation Model Training and Evaluation

Integration of new formats into the planform

Alongside Senior Engineers, development of new elements of the Translation Service Platform

Using technologies including: PyTorch/TensorFlow, Python, NLP, Java, REST Web Services, XML

Improvement to the Org's Dev Ops Pipelines

Using technologies including: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Containers/Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins Pipelines

DevOps Engineering (2 Positions)
Key Tasks & knowledge include, but are not limited to, the following:

Supporting the enterprise scale translation/language service and workflow running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Utilize OCI to support mission critical translation software and hardware requirements for IPS with opportunities in multiple areas. Including:

Cloud Native DevOps

Security and Compliance

Cloud Native Monitoring

Support/Manage Cloud-based infrastructure using Terraform.

Deliver application specific targeted metrics for Cloud Native Monitoring.

Triaging issues logged against applications and processes owned and operated by our team.
Release Engineering (1 Position)
Key Tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:

Processing & problem solving relating all technical Oracle translation operations. Learn how to manage and a difference in a fast changing operational field.

Use methodical approach to identify and track down problems to resolution, while learning Oracle technical process's and technologies.

Development to improve or automate procedures

Become familiar with Oracle software tools, internal scripts and code

Tools QA (1 Position)

Key Tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:

Understanding user stories and requirements to functionally test features.

Executing manual and automated tests on IPS tools and apps.

Improving and extending existing python test suites or Selenium tests

Identifying issues and defects.

Working closely with Developers to assist in resolution of issues.

Qualifications / Experience:
At least two years completed of a third level qualification (Degree) in Computer Science/Applications or related science or engineering discipline.
Knowledge/Experience in these areas or other such areas, would be an added advantage.
