TCC Recruitment is excited to be leading the charge to help their client and one of Ireland’s most interesting Accountancy Practices identify a proactive Accounting Apprentice to join their South Dublin team. This organisation is the epitome of Client Satisfaction and is seeking an experienced payroll professional who matches their passion to help their clients succeed. As an Accounting Apprentice, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate payroll processing for approximately 35 Irish companies across various industries. The successful candidate will possess an understanding of the PAYE system in Ireland, be familiar with the Revenue Online System (ROS) and have experience with the implementation of Payroll Modernization by Revenue in 2019. Candidates with experience working with the payroll software Collsoft would be desired.

Responsibilities:

Process payroll for Irish companies across various industries.
Collaborating with senior team members to manage employee data.
Learn and ensure compliance with all payroll regulations and requirements, including PAYE, PRSI, USC, and other statutory deductions.
Handle queries from employees and clients related to payroll and taxation.
Progressively taking on more comprehensive accounting tasks.
Keep up to date with changes to payroll legislation and regulations.
Maintain accurate records and reports relating to payroll, including payslips and payroll reports.
Collaborating with team members to provide efficient client services.

Requirements:

Understanding of PAYE in Ireland, and familiarity with the Revenue Online System (ROS) and Payroll Modernisation.
Experience with payroll software Collsoft is desired.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
No prior experience required; this is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth.
