We are now inviting applications for the position of a Warehouse and Delivered Manager to join our Marketplace team.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Sales & Order Assembly & Warehouse

Ensure all orders are assembled correctly and efficiently in warehouse
Clearly communicate with customers/BDMs and Telesales regarding any changes to their order
Ensure excellent customer service is provided to all customers
Proactively take care of customers and maximise all upselling opportunities
Ensure stock substitution in place (where agreed) to maintain revenue
Ensure customer credits are completed daily with returns being controlled to minimise waste
Follow up on all customer queries - report weekly on actions/outcomes of same
Pre-plan for promotional weeks and peak periods
Managing a picking team with full adherence to SOP & SSOW’s at all times
Support and manage on sitePicking Team to ensure Marketplace orders are delivered in a cost-effective manner
Maintain effective communication with all key stakeholders
Produce daily/weekly transport KPI`s
Manage all customer channels through delivered channel retail, foodservice, export

Transport

Follow delivery route scheduling as per customer order schedule
Audit, monitor, implement and ensure compliance with all relevant transport legislation including tachograph compliance, driver working hours, and H&S
Manage the performance and development of the driver team to identify and develop high performing team members and address non-performing members by structured corrective action measurements
Route Planning
Ensure drivers comply with driving legislation and required paperwork
Ensure all standard HR processes are implemented for transport team
Maintain effective communication with customers, managers, and logistics within Musgrave Wholesale Partners

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Experience, Skills and Education

Strong knowledge of transport legislation
Previous experience managing a team
Proven record of people management and effective resource management to maximise productivity
Customer focus with high attention to detail
Sales and order fulfilment experience
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to work well under pressure
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Previous experience in a Wholesale and Retail environment
