Job Description

As the API Technical Manager, you will lead a dynamic team of process engineering and chemistry professionals dedicated to both large-scale and small-scale pilot plant API manufacturing. Your role is pivotal in providing chemistry and chemical engineering support, along with program management for commercial API manufacturing operations and new product introductions (NPIs) throughout the site. In addition, you'll monitor processes to identify improvements, aiming to enhance yield, reduce cycle times, and lower standard product costs through continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in a relevant pharmacy, chemical engineering, or related science field required with MS to PhD preferrable.
3-5 years of experience in process chemistry or process engineering, with a strong background in batch processing, technical transfers, and validation in a GMP pharmaceutical environment essential.
Proven leadership experience with a team of direct reports.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment.
