We are currently looking to hire a n Food & Beverage Manager to join our existing team.

Job Role: To consistently achieve product and service delivery standards within the Bar & Restaurant and ensure a high degree of guest care. Responsible for daily shift operations and supervision of staff in all areas while on duty to maintain a positive and proactive culture within the food & beverage team. Position assists with promoting the bar and restaurant, menu planning, maintaining standards, assisting food & beverage assistants on the floor during peak periods and manages property liquor inventories and controls. Strives to ensure guest and colleague satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Accountable for enforcing all legal obligations professionally and consistently. Determines training needed to accomplish goals and implements a training plan.

Responsibilities:

To provide excellent customer service
To ensure that all Managers, Supervisors & Food and Beverage assistants fully understand their roles & responsibilities
To set service expectations for all guests
To ensure compliance with all bar / restaurant policies, standards & procedures
To monitor all cash handling procedures and ensure strict compliance
To maintain regular and effective communication within your team and at all levels by attending briefing sessions when required and by conducting monthly team communication meetings
To ensure service training to all colleagues on service excellence and menu knowledge
To ensure that the HACCP system is maintained throughout the hotel at a very high standard.
To monitor the payroll forecasting for Food and Beverage areas on a weekly and monthly basis ensuring all departments are within the allocated budget.
To assist in compiling the yearly budgets and forecasting the revenue for Food and Beverage areas. To perform a rolling forecast on a monthly basis.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar role
Hospitality/ Catering Degree desireable
Experience planning, coordinating and executing large events and conferences
HACCP trained
Passionate about delivering an exceptionally high level of guest service in a confident & professional manner
Strong coaching and leadership skills
